Since its first edition back in 2011, the LACMA Art+Film Gala has brought together the biggest names in fashion, entertainment, and, of course, art and film. And from supermodels and designers to musicians and actors, this year’s event was no exception. Flocking to California for an evening of celebratory fundraising, Elle Fanning, Emma Roberts, Cindy Crawford, Lorde, and many more familiar faces brought their best looks to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

In one of the most standout fashion moments of the night, Cynthia Erivo turned heads in a Schiaparelli gown adorned with eyes. Pulled from the couture label’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, the strapless dress was designed by Daniel Roseberry with pearls and embroidery, creating 3D eyes in various sizes that popped off the fabric and followed you wherever you turned. The optical illusion, a standard of Schiaparelli, was both eerily captivating and breathtakingly striking, and was made all the more dramatic with a winged accent falling from the sides of the bodice. From these panels, transparent tulle floated to the ground, sweeping behind Erivo like a train—or a cape. Styled by Jason Bolden, the gown was paired with David Yurman earrings and ultra-high silver Christian Louboutin heels for a full sparkly moment.

The LACMA Gala, sponsored by Gucci, was founded to support the museum’s initiative to broaden their film programming with new exhibitions, acquisitions, screenings, education. This year’s event honored visual artist Mary Corse and filmmaker Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Sinners).
