Denise Richards earned a win in her contentious court battle with estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge granted the actress and reality TV star a five-year restraining order against Phypers on Friday, per PEOPLE. The order is set to expire on Nov. 7, 2030.

The outlet reported that under the restraining order, Phypers is not allowed to own or buy guns, abuse Richards, disturb her peace, or be in contact with her, among other restrictions. If they do have communication, Richards is allowed to record the conversations. Phypers must also return a laptop he took from Richards, and cannot share pictures or provide information about her to the media. He is also required to return videos of her surgeries to her and delete them from all his devices and iCloud account.

Representatives for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond when Entertainment Weekly reached out for comment.

The order was granted almost four months after the Wild Things actress initially accused Phypers of domestic violence following their split. He filed for divorce in July, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, Richards was granted a temporary restraining order after accusing her estranged husband of abuse "throughout" their six-year marriage.

Phypers has denied all abuse allegations.

Richards and Phypers first met in 2017 at Quantum 360 Club, the wellness center Phypers operates in Malibu, where Richards sought a "preventative DNA repair" service. They were married the year after and chronicled their lives off and on between 2019 and 2024, when Richards appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Each was previously married once before: Richards to actor Charlie Sheen between 2000 and 2006, while Phypers and actress Nicollette Sheridan were married in 2015 and separated the following year.

In court documents obtained by EW, the actress alleged that Phypers would "frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages."

The mother of three requested that Phypers return her laptop — which she accused him of searching through while she slept — and also requested that he pay for her legal expenses, any other expenses caused by the alleged abuse, and that he attend a 52-week batterer intervention program.

Last month, Phypers' cousin Kathleen McAllister backed up Richards' allegations against the wellness center owner, claiming she saw the physical abuse for herself.

"I saw Aaron hit Denise and immediately she had a really bad black eye," McAllister said during a virtual appearance at the Los Angeles venue, explaining that he had hit Richards with his palm, per PEOPLE. "I'm literally in shock now to this day about it."

Richards herself also appeared at the hearing, alleging that Phypers "would often threaten to throw me through the windows and off balconies. He's almost killed me so many damn times."

During the hearing, Phypers testified that he "never physically harmed Denise Richards" nor "threatened to harm her."
