Lori Loughlin is going through a tough time during her split from Mossimo Giannulli, whom she was married to for 28 years.
However, a source tells PEOPLE the actress, 61, has a "supportive" circle to lean on amid her split from Giannulli, 62.
"She has a good group of friends. A lot of her friends are also divorced and have gone through the same thing she currently is," the source says. "They’re rallying behind her."
The source notes that there is certainly no love lost between Loughlin's pals and her ex.
"They do not like him," the source continues. "They are very angry with him."
When reached by PEOPLE, Giannulli has maintained he has "zero comment" about his split. In an initial statement, Loughlin's longtime rep Elizabeth Much confirmed they are "living apart and taking a break from their marriage."
Last week, Loughlin's former Full House costar and longtime friend John Stamos slammed the businessman publicly.
"She put up with a lot over the years of this guy," Stamos said on the Oct. 20 episode of the Good Guys podcast. “She’s just devastated. For a girl who has lived her life really well, a good person, a good mother, a good wife — I know all this for a fact — to be thrown into now this separation and, you know, exploding, blowing up her family this way... I just hate to see her go through this. I really do.”

“Whatever he did to her, it busted her up to the core... And again, I'm not going to get into the relationship. It's not my business. I mean, I know a lot, and I was by her side through a lot of it," Stamos continued. "She is an angel, and she always made things better. She cleaned everything up. He's a very successful dude.”
Stamos also underscored that he will "never talk" to Giannulli again. "He's a terrible narcissist, and I don't think you ever get out of that unless you're able to," he added.
Following the news of the couple's separation, another insider close to the family told PEOPLE how their daughters Olivia, 26, and Bella, 27, are coping.
“There’s no drama or resentment. They’ve seen how hard their mom and dad have tried over the years, and they’re focused on keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family," the source said.
Another source also previously told PEOPLE a reconciliation was unlikely for the exes, who recently found a buyer for their L.A.-area home.
"It's not a happy situation for her," the source said. "They're in very different places right now and it's unlikely that they'll find their way back together.
