Meghan Markle Posts New Videos Of Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet For Easter

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, has shared a series of brand-new videos featuring her children, Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex. The new videos, which were shared on Markle's Instagram account, show the children looking for Easter eggs and conclude with a clip of Archie decorating an egg for the holiday, with Lilibet seemingly doing the same in the background.

As is true of most photos and videos that Markle and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, share of their children, both Archie and Lilibet's faces are mostly hidden from view, with clips being filmed either from behind or at an angle that will obscure their faces.

However, the children seem to be enjoying the festive day, with Princess Lilibet not only carrying around a rabbit stuffed animal as she searches for eggs but also donning a pair of bunny ears on her head. Archie also shows off an advanced way of decorating eggs, with a dinosaur themed object that spins the egg as he colors it.

This update from Markle comes after Prince Harry's brother, Prince William, Prince of Wales stepped out for the royal family's annual Easter outing alongside wife Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. This appearance was an unexpected one, as the Waleses have missed the last two Easter outings due to Middleton's cancer diagnosis.

This Easter thus marks another holiday on which these two branches of the royal family, the Waleses and the Sussexes, seem to be celebrating separately from one another, without any overt communication between the two. Publicly, the relationship between the brothers has been distant and strained since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their royal duties in 2020.

Since then, the Wales family has continued to attend royal engagements—with a hiatus as Middleton was undergoing cancer treatments—and the Sussex family has been living a private life in the United States, occasionally appearing at events, though not as part of royal duties.

Speculation remains regarding whether Prince William and Prince Harry will eventually mend the relationship, but it seems that this Easter is yet another holiday that has passed without any public communication between them.
