Millie Bobby Brown is keeping her Stranger Things family close — especially as she builds one of her own.
The 21-year-old actress revealed that her longtime costar and close friend Noah Schnapp has taken on a very special role of godfather to her baby daughter.
After welcoming her first child with husband Jake Bongiovi earlier this summer through adoption, Brown confirmed the sweet detail while speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Netflix hit’s Season 5 premiere on Thursday, November 6. “Noah is the godfather,” she shared proudly.
The moment shared via TikTok as well, which received a ton of comments from fans of the actress.
“AwHhh Noah Schnapp as her baby’s Godfather,” one gushed.
Another declared, “Noah schnapp is the godfather I’m gonna lose it that’s so dam cute…..”
“NOAH IS HER GODFATHER!? WHAT A REAL BROTHERHOOD I'M CRYING,” said a third.
While Schnapp, 21, holds the official title, Brown said the rest of her Stranger Things castmates — including Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Joe Keery, and Gaten Matarazzo — are all equally caring when it comes to her little one. “Sadie is very maternal,” Brown said. “I trust all of them to be honest. They all turn into the most gooey soft versions of themselves when their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”
A lot of fans seemingly missed Brown’s motherhood milestone, leaving comments like, “SHE HAS A KID!!!?’ and, “A MOM ?? WHAT DID I MISS?”
Another stated, “this is how i find out she’s a mom.”

The series is approaching its highly anticipated finale, with Season 5 Part 1 set to premiere on Netflix November 26. Ahead of the premiere, Brown silenced rumors of a feud with her costar David Harbour. Speculation began after a Daily Mail report earlier this week claimed she’d filed a harassment complaint against him before filming season five. But at the show’s premiere, Brown shut down the chatter, praising Harbour in an Extra interview. “It’s been amazing,” she said. “We’re so lucky to have each other… This has been the last 10 years of our lives.”
