MJF already has enough pressure heading into AEW Double or Nothing. Nevertheless, now the stakes surrounding his Hair vs. Title match against Darby Allin have become even more personal.

This week, Alicia Atout made it clear she hasn’t made peace with the sight of seeing her husband walk out of Las Vegas without his trademark hair.

With “Bald!” chants already following MJF around AEW programming, the situation has quickly gone from a championship rivalry to a full-blown follicle frenzy.

Safe to say, Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s hairline is currently selling better than some pay-per-view main events.

Alicia Atout reacts to MJF’s Hair Vs. Title Stipulation

The entire situation stems from MJF’s upcoming AEW World Championship rematch against Darby Allin at Double or Nothing on May 24. After previously offering Darby money, his scarf, and even the Dynamite Diamond Ring for another title opportunity, Allin refused every deal on the table.

Instead, Darby Allin targeted MJF’s vanity directly by demanding he put his hair on the line. The challenge also included references to MJF’s alleged trip to Turkey for a hair restoration procedure.

On the May 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF reluctantly signed the contract while fans loudly chanted “Bald!” throughout the segment. The former AEW World Champion later snapped and assaulted Allin after the signing. MJF showed just how deeply the stipulation has gotten under his skin.

Now, Atout has joined the conversation publicly. In an Instagram video, she admitted the possibility of MJF being shaved bald could ruin wrestling for her entirely.

“If Darby Allin pulls some kind of bullshit at Double or Nothing, causing my husband not only the title but having to shave his head, I’m gonna hate this sport for the rest of my life,” Atout proclaimed.

She also joked on X that they may need to cancel their honeymoon plans if MJF loses his hair. Atout revealed that “going out in public wouldn’t be wise” in that scenario.

As Double or Nothing approaches, the spotlight remains firmly on MJF — and apparently, every single strand attached to him.
