Ryan Gosling recently gave a romantic shoutout to partner Eva Mendes in a hilarious Jeopardy! round. In an Instagram clip shared on February 26, host Ken Jennings announced that Gosling was in the lead before declaring the final clue for the game. The clue was, “This specific type of injury has made the news at least since 1967 when it happened to Red Sox star Jim Lonborg.”

The camera panned on Gosling, who shook his head a few times while showcasing a serious expression on his face. A contestant named Michael answered “ACL” correctly, doubling his prize money to $28,200 and taking over The Notebook star as the lead.

Gosling hilariously wrote on his screen, “What is… IDK?” and “I (heart emoji) Eva,” a wholesome nod to his partner of 15 years and the mother of their children.

However, in an interesting plot twist, the host accepted Gosling’s casual response, increasing his prize money to $51,200. The La La Land star was taken aback and laughed in response. It seems that his sweet nod to his partner proved to be a lucky bet for him.
