Taylor Swift‘s husband-to-be, Travis Kelce, wasn’t in attendance at Paul McCartney’s show at the Fonda Theater on March 28. Ahead of this show, the A-list couple showcased their affection publicly at the iHeartRadio Music Awards as Swift took home seven awards, and Kelce cheered from the crowd. They also danced a bit when in the audience and shared a kiss following Swift’s win. The singer gave a shoutout to her fiancé during her acceptance speech as well.

Travis Kelce skipped major event with Taylor Swift

Deuxmoi, an Instagram account, shared a picture of Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, leaving the McCartney show at the Fonda Theater. Swift sported a black dress, whereas Rodrigo went for a yellow, as they appeared to have a chat on their way out. However, Kelce was nowhere to be seen with her at the event, which was attended by numerous big names like Calista Flockhart, Billie Eilish, Jon Hamm, Sabrina Carpenter, and more.

It’s learned that Kelce skipped the sold-out event as he might have been on a boys’ trip with Chiefs tight end Robert Tonyan, San Francisco 49ers George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk, and others. Kittle recently took to Instagram to share a series of photos from their golfing trip. A few photos included Kelce as well. They went to Bandon Dunes in Oregon. The Instagram caption read, “Bandon Boys ft…”

In an earlier interview with Golfdom, Kelce expressed his love for golf and shared his favorite spots to play. He said, “The feeling you get when you hit that thing in your driver as far as you can … you feel it in your bones, man… It’s the best feeling in the world. I’ve got a few favorite spots in Kansas City. I don’t like to get political, but I’ll name three: The National, Loch Lloyd, and Wolf Creek.”

Revealing what conditions he feels are essential while playing the sport, he added, ” I’ll tell you what, conditions are important, (golf courses) have a beautiful botanic-esque, therapeutic kind of feel when you’re on a really, really nice course… Without a doubt.” Kelce will return to play another NFL season for the Chiefs this year.
