UGI June rate hike rejected, December increase proposed

(WBRE/WYOU) — Some good news for UGI gas customers tonight: your bill is not going up next month.

The company confirmed no rate change come June 1, but UGI has already filed a request with state regulators for a December increase.

For the average household, that would mean about $2.50 more on your monthly bill.

The state Public Utility Commission still has to approve the change.
