The countdown to the winner of this season’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy continued on week 8 of Dancing with the Stars, hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, when the theme is “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night.”
The eight remaining couples remain danced either the Paso Doble, Jive, Contemporary, Viennese Waltz or Jazz to classic songs and were judged by Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, as well as special guest judge and Hall of Fame inductee Flavor Flav.
The fan-favorite team dance competition returned to the ballroom with a twist: Alfonso and Julianne each joined one of the teams. The teams danced to special live performances from GRAMMY® Award-winning and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Kool & the Gang and Chicago.

It was a two-way tie for first place at the top of the leaderboard for individual scores. Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy earned a 39 for their Paso Doble, which Bruno called “the Paso Doble bombshell,” and Derek told Alix, “You were like an absolute rock & roll goddess out there.” But Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas also earned a 39 for the Paso Doble with Bruno saying, “Ferociously intense, yet artistically exquisite.”
