It's time for a new Zayn Malik era.

Malik released his new single "Die for Me" alongside a music video on Friday, Feb. 6, after announcing his new album KONNAKOL and first solo headline arena tour earlier this week.

“Die for Me” features Malik singing lyrics about feeling as though he gave everything to a relationship where the love ultimately wasn’t reciprocated. “You said you would die for me / Don't leave me now when I need you the most / Gave you my heart, don't you dare let it go,” he sings on the chorus.

The music video opens on a close-up shot of Malik, which widens to reveal he’s in an eerie outdoor space next to a tractor trailer in the midst of a lightning storm. Wind starts picking up, while cars and debris begin flying everywhere around him in a tornado.

He then walks through a building filled with cars, and everything’s on fire — before he walks back outside and into the pouring rain. The clip culminates with Malik standing in the wreckage of the storm.

The song will appear on Malik's upcoming fifth studio album, KONNAKOL, set for an April 17 release."It’s that time again, I have been lucky enough to make a fifth studio album… KONNAKOL in its definition is the act of creating percussive sounds with one’s voice but what it means to me lies somewhere much deeper," he said in a statement.

Malik continued, "It is a sound that holds the reverberation of a time before words existed. I have always drawn on my heritage for inspiration since I first started making my own music, this album is a development of that understanding, knowing more now than ever, who I am, where I come from and where I intend to go."

He'll promote the album with The KONNAKOL Tour later this year, marking his first run of solo headline arena shows.

The tour runs from May to November with shows in North America, South America, Mexico and the U.K.

Tickets will first become available through the ZAYN VIP KEY presale on Feb. 10 at 12p.m. local time in all markets. Fans can sign up to join the community between now and Feb. 8 at 11:59 ET.

More presales will run throughout the week before the general on-sale launches Feb. 13 for all shows except Brazil, which launches Feb. 11.
